Dolce Rentals Terms & Conditions
1. Placing a Reservation & Payment
2. Rental Period & Responsibility
You are responsible for all rented items from the moment they are delivered or picked up until they are returned. Items must be kept in good condition and protected from weather, pets, smoke, food stains, and improper use.
3. Security Deposit / Damage Hold
A temporary security hold may be placed on your card to cover damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or late returns. This is not a charge. The hold is released automatically once all items are returned in their original condition and inspected by our team.
4. Assembly, Setup & Site Readiness
All linens must be returned dry and free of debris. Do not bag damp or wet linens, as this causes permanent mold and mildew within hours; linens damaged by mold will be charged at full replacement cost. Damage fees also apply to burns, tears, permanent stains (ink, heavy grease), or hardened candle wax. The use of "dripless" candles is strongly recommended, as the customer is responsible for the full replacement cost of any linen with wax residue that cannot be removed by standard laundering.
6. Liability & Safety
Customers accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages resulting from the use or misuse of any rented items. This includes, but is not limited to, negligent actions by the customer, their guests, or incidents caused by acts of nature while the items are in their possession. Dolce Rentals, its employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any claims arising from such events.

Dolce Rentals is not responsible for issues arising from rain, wind, extreme heat, or uneven surfaces. Items must be protected from the elements at all times. For setups on grass or dirt, Dolce Rentals is not liable for furniture "sinking" due to soft ground or instability caused by unlevel surfaces.

Dolce Rentals shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes), war, government-mandated closures, pandemics, or civil unrest. In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, Dolce Rentals’ standard non-refundable policy applies; however, at management’s discretion, a store credit may be issued for a future date.
13. Respect & Conduct Clause
We reserve the right to pause or terminate services without refund if our team experiences disrespectful, hostile, or inappropriate behavior. Our team’s safety and dignity are non‑negotiable. Repeated hostile communication after services have been rendered may result in the termination of all correspondence.

By completing your reservation and paying your retainer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
1. Placing a Reservation & Payment
- Non-Refundable Retainer: A minimum of 50% of the total reservation is required to reserve your date and inventory. This payment is a non-refundable retainer that secures items specifically for your event and removes them from our available inventory.
- Final Balance: Any remaining balance must be paid in full no later than the Monday of the event week by 5:00 PM.
- Failure to Pay: Failure to pay the remaining balance by this deadline will result in:
- Automatic cancellation of the reservation.
- Forfeit of all money paid.
- Immediate release of inventory for other customers to book.
- Reinstatement: If a reservation is canceled due to non‑payment and the customer wishes to reinstate it, a $25 reinstatement fee will apply. Reinstatement is not guaranteed and is subject to item availability at the time of the request.

- Customer Setup: Customers are responsible for assembling and disassembling all rented tables and chairs unless a Setup Fee is specifically added to the reservation.
- Site Readiness: For paid setup services, the site must be clear and ready for installation at the scheduled arrival time. If our team is delayed by venue unreadiness, locked doors, or other vendors, a Wait Fee of $50 per 30 minutes will apply.
- Proper Use: Dolce Rentals provides heavy‑duty tables and chairs; however, overloading or improper use (such as standing on furniture) can lead to structural failure. Misuse, abuse, or failure to follow usage guidelines will result in damage charges.

- Standard Hours: Delivery and pickup occur on the same day unless otherwise approved.
- Latest pickup time: 11:00 PM (Mon–Sat) / 10:00 PM (Sunday).
- After‑hours pickups are subject to a $100 per hour flat fee (not prorated).
- Access: Customers must ensure clear access. Additional fees apply for stairs, long distances, or difficult access.
- Delivery Window Disclaimer:
Delivery windows are approximate. Delays due to traffic, weather, or venue access do not constitute grounds for refunds or discounts. All rentals are considered fulfilled once items are delivered on the event date. The Customer is responsible for planning adequate setup time, including necessary buffers for contingencies, regardless of the provided delivery window. Dolce Rentals is not responsible for delays in customer decor, table settings, or event readiness.
8. Customer Pickup (Will-Call)
- Vehicle Requirements: We reserve the right to refuse a pickup if the transportation vehicle is inappropriate or risks damage to our inventory.
- Responsibility: Customers are fully responsible for inventory during transport and possession. Damages will be assessed at the full replacement cost, plus tax and shipping.
- Windows: * Pickup: Friday (3PM–6PM) or Saturday (11AM–6PM).
- Return: Monday (11AM–6PM). Late returns incur additional rental fees and loss of security deposit.

10. Cleaning, Damage, & Missing Items
- Cleaning: Light cleaning is included. A $50 fee applies for items returned excessively dirty.
- Damage/Loss: The customer assumes full responsibility for all items. Missing items or damages will be assessed upon return. Customers have 24 hours to locate missing items before the full replacement cost (based on current market value) is charged.
11. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations: May be made at any time; however, a $25 cancellation fee applies.
- Non-Refundable Policy: All payments (including retainers) are non‑refundable.
- Store Credit: Any remaining paid balance (after the retainer and fees) will be issued as store credit, which must be redeemed for an event occurring within 6 months from the date of cancellation.
- Order Changes: Reductions made within 48 hours of the event date are non-refundable and do not qualify for store credit.

- Evidence: Dolce Rentals maintains internal logs, timestamps, and photos for quality assurance and dispute resolution.
- Promotional Use: Dolce Rentals reserves the right to take photos of the event setup for promotional and social media use. No private client information will be disclosed.
